Last night, my Oceanic 175 sprung a major leak, and I had to dismantle the entire tank. I hope this never happens to anyone else, and I have no idea what happened, but I think one of the seals in the tank failed.
The following things are for sale, and many more will be added later when I have time to catch my breath.

300 lbs premium Marshall Island live rock.....sale pending, but if it falls through, I will repost.
The RBTA's are very nice and extremely colorful. They are clones of clones of clones that I have had for four years.
1-large RBTA on a large rock = $100.00
1-large RBTA on an X-large rock= $125.00
2-large RBTA on a small rock= $150.00
1-large rock with at least 20-25 bright orange ricordias = $100.00

Thanks,
James

Larger than a football, about 12-14 inches in length, 5-6 inches tall with an arched area in the front. It is nicely shaped and was in the front of my tank.

Thanks, everyone, but I think this is the end for me. This is just overwhelming and very sad.

The ric rock is sold.

Sorry. No pics of the roses, but trust me, they are very nice.

James - I am really sorry to hear about your tank. I remember the first time I saw your tank, I was WOW'ed by it. To this day - it still rates as the top 5 mixed tank that I have ever seen! If you need help - please feel free to call me.

For all those who want the RBTA - I have seen some of James' RBTA. I don't know if they have changed, but when I saw them, they were more of a nice pink color than a burgundy color. They are definitely one of the nices RBTA out there.

Sad news James, some of us could probably provide temp homes for you if you decide to rebuild.

James,
So sorry to hear about your misfortune. Do you mind if I ask where the tank started leaking? Is it a bowfront? I'm now concerned because I also have a 175 gal. Oceanic bowfront thats been running now for a little more than 2 years.

I am not sure where the leak actually is, but it appears to be somewhere in the bottom joint, maybe on one side. The glass isn't cracked, and I had to remove all of the water before the leak stopped. Water was running along the edge of the black strip that runs along the bottom edge of the tank and running down both sides in the back. I know that there wasn't a problem with the overflows and the side/back corner seals because the overflows were full of water until today when I removed the standpipes. That leads me to believe that it is one of the bottom left or right joints that has failed. There hadn't been any problems with leakage or dripping or anything until last night when water began flowing out.
This is an Oceanic 75 gal. bowfront, and it has been running for over 4 years.... so I don't know what caused this mess.
