Tank downgrade update

Ok so I have been in my evil lair working on a new downgrade from the 210. I know I know I will regret it but another baby on the way I need to simplify. So I picked up a 65 gallon from petworld the other day (very cheap 139 everywhere else was closer to 200) drilled one end for a 1 inch bulkhead with loc line for return from the pump and the other end with a 1.5 inch bulkhead for a gl*******s kit. its a bit louder than I though but working like a champ. this is going to be my first tank with sand in a long time. So I am wondering what kind of sand critters are out there that wont break the bank I was thinking of a pistol shrimp and fish combo but to be honest the shrimp is the cool part and you never see him

Congrats on the new baby. I know what its like to downgrade. I don't have the time for the hobby with one child, let alone two. I always liked the candy stripe pistols. For the fish I always liked the randalls or yasha hase goby.

Yeah things are getting crazy over here and I just dont have the time to devote to it which really stinks after all the work i put into it. so i am just going to dial it back for a while maybe after the new guy gets a bit older I can get a large tank setup again but for now priorities need to be shifted a bit

i've had a few yashi pairs ,and yashi /shrimp combo's. it's really hit or miss in my 28. pearly jawfish pair or harem could be cool for the 65.

its actually kind of weird when I had the 210 it seemed like I was out of room for corals but this seems like the new stack allows for more who wants to do some trading haha
