Tank move help?

Anyone feel like giving a hand Sat. at 1:00 at witche's house to move a 150 out of the house and onto a trailer. We could use at least 2 other people. The tank is located in E. Alton. I'll get the address sent to any volunteers before Sat. I'm guessing an hour at the most.

Thanks in advance!

The basement unfortunately. Glenn bought some kind of moving straps which they say helps but it seems to me it would be harder to do but maybe.

I'll be at Inland Aquatics about that time otherwise I would be happy to lend a hand.

Sunday would be a different story though.

I have hockey games all weekend. If you can't find anybody to do it this weekend and can wait until next, I can find time.

Sorry Roy, I won't be avail. saturday. Did you buy it???

If so, that would make sense. Last time I was at your house I was thinking you needed another tank!

Did you ever sell the 70's?

I would offer Roy, but only one handed so I'd be pretty helpless, but if you ask my wife thats normal for me :)

You are still using that fake arm brace? Your wife would do great, I mean... She did finishing putting in the hardwood floor after you decided to grab a moving saw blade!

I am going to be there to help

If its all in Alton then sure I suppose I could help. I dont feel like driving all over St. Louis this weekedn, but a trip to Alton would be good.

Fast Eddies will be my incentive to come help.

Hey Roy if you need help and are a bit flexible on the time I can try and throw in. Why are you using a trailer? In this weather with the bumping around you are asking for cracked glass or acrylic. I have a subrban that I am sure it would fit in (I have gotten a full size sofa in it before.

Shoot me a PM. I gots lots of payback to do LOL

With the seats down in the Durango it will hold a 4X8 sheet of plywood or drywall or whatever but by the time we move the stand and canopy which are pretty large it would be pushing it too much. We may still put the tank in the back of the truck though.

Justin this is for Glenn. I'm not doing an upgrade until I put a 4X6or 4X8 upstairs.

Well it's sara's birthday sat. but glenn lives right here so I'll try to kick in and help setup or whatnot. Let me know or he has my number also.
Is this going to be an upgrade for him or is he adding this?

BTW- Roy, did you ever get rid of your 2 70's?

That may be an idea and just completely avoid trailer use. It's witche's trailer so I guess the decision can be made on the spot.

OK, we'll be at the tank location at 1:00 or if someone needs to ride we'll meet at my office at 12:00.

Tank is at:
212 Cardot St.
East Alton, IL 62024

My office is at:
14391 Manchester Rd.
Manchester, MO 63011

If you call my office number 636 230 3783 it is forwarded to my cell phone. We'll leave my office at 12 sharp to make sure we make it there by 1 so plan to get there by 11:45 but take my number just in case of some problem. I think most of the volunteer help are actually closer to the tank so I don't think anyone will be meeting at the office.

Thanks again guys. :D

If the wife gets home in time I can meet you at your office Roy. Shouldn't be any problem.

Howard

Glenn and I got it moved. It's in the garage so it's one step closer to him getting it up and running!

Yea but we managed alright. My low back is pretty sore today and when it's bad I don't usually notice until the next day so I may really be in rough shape tomorrow. I hope not. Knock on wood.
