Thanks everyone. I do have to say that i scan the forums quite often and look at the pictures of your tanks and corals too and it is nice to be recognized by all you experts out there. I always look at the pics and empty the drool cup. I guess I could install a small overflow on it.
I'm sorry for the late reply to some questions. Corporate america gets in the way of my hobby sometimes.
Kevinpo- The 300 gal has been setup for 2 1/2 years. Most of the corals came from my 120 gal that was packed. I had the 120 running for 4 years before the big move.
Nvert- I love the cardinals! I spent a few hours looking for babies last night and came up empty. If I could train the pappa to swim into the net and release them I would save a lot of time. The beer companies would lose some sales though. We have third generation kids now, I just need to research the genetic problems that may happen within the family.
Todd- When I decided to get the new tank, I should say it was approved after lots of "honey do lists" were completed, I couldn't get a very big tank down the stairs in our house. So I measured the window and had it built the dimensions it could fit through the window. The size of the room was an issue also. The dimensions are 30"w x 24"h x 8' long.
Thanks again!
Cris
