Tank of the Month - September 2003

Hey Buddy,
A well deserved honor! Great pictures of a great tank. I really like those growth sequence pictures.

Best regards,
Kevin

Back from MACNA! It was excellent again this year.

I enjoyed seeing all of these nice comments here waiting for me. Thanks to everyone......especially my SPS forum friends who are always quick to help me when I need it!:)

Tell me this, do some people call you the space cowboy, and others the gangster of love?
Not lately....but I have been known to shake a few peach trees.:)

It sure was nice to shake hands with the owner of the TOTM for once! Did Rick share any of those corals he brought home from MACNA? All my stuff made it! :)

It was good to meet you. It is always nice to put faces to the names we see all of the time.

I saw a really nice piece that I would have bought if I had anyplace to put it. After a few minutes I convinced Rick how great it would look in his tank. I will get my frag when I go to Dallas later this week.:)

Love your tank. Great job. I fell in love with that hammer second layed eyes on it. Where can I get a hammer just like it?

I got my hammer at Harbor Aquatics over three years ago. I see them from time to time in local fish stores.

That's a typical, though beautiful, non-branching hammer. The shot was taken with the hammer under actinics, though it looks very similar under all lighting in Steve's tank.
