Tank ordered!

Well, I did it, I ordered my tank. I ordered a Rimless 36x24x24 from Glass Cages. I think it comes out to be about 90 gallons. I get to pick it up in Raleigh on Sept. 5th, just a couple of weeks away. :)

I have always wanted to do this but am really gonna try this time. I am going to start a build thread and try to keep it up. As soon as I get the tank, of course.

If there is anyone else out there setting up a new or fairly new tank, I wish you would do the same. HINT HINT :p

congrats on the new tank I think you'll be happy, the first one I was supposed to get was rimless but it was chipped I then switched to euro bracing. I have a bunch more pics from my build I've just been lazy about upoading them. I will try and get the rest of the pics up in the next few days.
 
always a repeater huh rick. take u back to grand prix days. lol. congrats on new tank cant wait to see pics. speaking of pics, dave i second the motion of seening yours sir. fred how u doing i think i read some where u got a shoulder injury. hope u feeling better. talk to yall later.

when you were a crew chief at the grand prix didnt you always have to tell us to do things more than once. hence the always a repeater bit. i guess it wasnt that funny. Sorry if it got under anybodys skin didnt mean no harm. Yes i am doing well just wish there wasnt so many people unemployed right now. I as well hope you are doing well, and your family also. Tell whitney i said hey please. How is your little girl is she walking yet i think its about that time right. well see ya guys later.
 
I see, you were part of that group that always had to be told to do some 300 times before you would do it. :)

Presley is doing well. Yeah, she's talking. ALOT! She pretty much rules the house, well unless Whitney is home. lol

yes sir i was a lost and misgiuded soul then lol glad to hear the good things about Presley. Has she started school yet mine is going to be a second grader this year and turn 7 on the 22nd this month. where does the time go. man i feel old now lol
 
I worked there for a week in the early nineties. That was the worst job I ever had. They stuck me in the kiddie section. 10 hours in the hot sun untangling three years olds who have no idea how to drive a go-cart.
 
i worked there one day i got stuck doing 2 shifts. 8 hours trying to crank the big cars. granted i was 120 socking wet. and 8 hours in the bumper boats. when i got home i was burnt to a crisp. never went back not even to get my paycheck for that one day.
 
Yall are slack! I think I worked there for about 4.5 years and when I put in my notice, they told me to go ahead and leave. That sucked!

This thread has really gone off subject.
 
well no one will share pics so what else we got to talk about. by the way how is that light working out for you?
 
The light is working well. I really appreciate it. Now the only problem I have is my clowns are fighting for room. They are not happy that I took 100 gallons of water away from them. The new tank will be here soon enough I guess.
