Tank over heat lost some good corals

Came home the other day and my tank was at almost 90 degrees. Lost my blue tip acro, a acan that was just starting to look good, my hammer coral is bleached out hope it makes it. My toadstool that was looking beautiful is not doing that well. My green star polyps are not coming out any more. But the fish and my zoas are doing great.

Planing on up grading to a 90 or 100 soon so I think that I'm just going to leave it as a zoa and frogspawn tank.

I was house sitting and the house just got so hot without me being home. My neighbor told me the power went out for a couple of hours. Came home to feed and check on things and found the cloudy hot tank. I'm surprised that the fish and the zoas still doing fine. Did a 15 gal water change and Steven took some for the still living but barely corals my war coral and green and orange chalice.

That sucks, Tony. When I went away for a couple of days, I left the window AC on a timer to come on during the afternoons. I also set up my RK to run fans on the DT and sump if water temp got over 81. Glad I did, because the outside temp climbed to over 100 one those days! Man, this summer heat is a bear for those of us without climate control. Hope to see ya at the August meeting...
