Tank paint

I need to paint the back of my tank (outside) and I need a durable/safe paint. Latex comes off too easily. Any suggestions?

use some Rustoleum spray paint. I think it is call epoxyshield. If not that one use the stuff that adheres to plastic...it makes for a nice coat on the back of your tank. On my previous tank I spray painted it black. I used blue this time around.

Thanks for the quick replies guys.

aiko670- I assume that you have tried the vinyl on your tank. How long has it been on there for? Any peeling?

Evolley-are you sure that the rustoleum epoxyshield is safe for my purposes here?

I have also used rustolium spray. Last time I got a little tricky and used 3 colors and blended them from black to dark blue to light blue. I tried to create more depth this way, by painting "hills and valleys".

It is safe for your tank as long as you don't drop the can in the water or spray directly into the water.

Rod,
How well did that work? I wanted to try that but I just settled on just one color.

It worked well. If you knew what your aquascaping was going to be like, and with a little practice it can be way cool.
