Tank Parameters help

Hello all so I use Aquarium Water Testing service and have a few questions on my tank
First off the silica ..I use RO/DI water and use GFO in my tank why is this High
I use IO salt and Kalk in my top off (3 tbs kalk per 5 gallons of top off)
why is my CA high and alk on lower side
Its mostly a softie tank with few LPS and Few SPS

also Molybdenum high ?? why

Calcium 188 is extremely low if that's being measured in ppm. 380-450 is a good target range. Supplementing or dosing Cal over time would be advised. This happens because your corals (along with coralline algae) are consuming it.

Also I've never tested Molybdenum.

Have you tried to measure your salt mix? Might be the IO salt?

480 ppm Cal will slowly correct itself over time. As mentioned above, check the parameters of your salt mix. That could be the factor driving your Cal high after water changes.

I would ignore the trace element levels, since the testing methodology for them is very suspect. The calcium level at 480 ppm is a bit high, but many salt products mix up to that level or higher, and it's perfectly safe. As long as your animals are doing well, I wouldn't worry.
