I thought I would share a couple pics of the tank over the past year or so since I'm getting ready to make the move to the big tank :)

Did I see a Naso in those pics?

Powder brown. Cool fish!!!

Very nice looking tank. I am guessing you used PVC supports on your rock work. I am hoping to do the same in my new 75 gallon...if and when I get the money to get everything I need for it. If you did use PVC supports did you have any trouble with your LR breaking when you drilled it?

I did use PVC (I won't in the upgrade) Gar used a 3/4 inch Masonry bit and for the most part we didn't have a problem.....I think I'm going to use acrylic rods in the upgrade so they won't be as noticeable.

Acrylic rods, where might one go about finding those? Home Depot, Lowes perhaps? What thickness do you think you would need to support that much weight. As far as being noticeable, I couldn't really see any of the supports in the pics, I just assumed based on the defiance of gravity. I was actually thinking about using gel super glue and course aragonite to cover the visible parts of the pvc on my tank. I don't know how well that would stand the test of time and flow, but I figured it was worth a shot.

I've found the acrylic rods on ebay.....I'm not 100% that is what I'm going with, I'm still looking to see what others have done.
