Tank Repair

Well due the the fact that my overflow box was leaking.I needed to redo some of my plumbing The silicone that I glued the acrylic overflow box came apart from the acrylic, letting water in the box from the bottom. After a power outage i had a major flood. So Yesterday with the help of Fordguy1992 we removed everything from the tank to a 90 in my kitchen After removing the overlow box and redoing the drain we restacked everything and I am now bare bottom.( Hence the live sand F?s). I was up till past 1am working on this and will take pictures of the new look after things settle in. My tangs were really stressed I hope I dont lose any of them or any other of my fish. I lost a few corals but we shall see , I will just have to replace them... look out Jerry I'm comming to get ya.

well lost my prize pink pocillpora and yellow tang as of now things are not looking good.....

Sorry to hear of your travails but it sounds as though you are putting in a herculean effort and I'm confident that you will turn things around and that ultimately your new system will be better than ever. sorry to hear of your losses. It is sad as you were loosing corals before the change over I hope this is the last of the looses and the begining of a whole new inproved system.

Well looks like everything is a total loss! I discoverred that 2 of my bulkheads started to leak. So drain and remove everything from the tank again. Let me say I am not a happy camper. The only survivors at the moment aremy,Squamosa clam, Crocea clam , Hippo tang , Vroliki angel and 6 line wrass.as for corals I might be able to save my Idaho grape colony and some zoos thats about it

Damn im sorry to hear that. Just saw your selling your tank also. I hope you change your mind. If you need a baby sitter for your clams id be happy to help. Dont have a spare tank for the fish but the clams can have a spot if you need some time to figure out what your doing.
