Tank Reset: Lot's of Rock and stuff For Sale

After much painful consideration, I've decided to do a complete reset on my tank. Just too many things that I don't like from the wiring to the rockwork. :deadhorse:

I've pulled out most of the corals and have about 75-100lbs of premium live rock originally purchased from RC. The rock is artificial. Pieces average 6-10". I do have a mild aptasia infestation but otherwise, the rock is beautiful premium pieces and fully cured (still in the tank).

I think RC sells this for about $6.00/lb and I'm letting it go for $3/lb. If you want it all, I'll drop to $2.50/lb. Some of the rock has some existing stubs of some SPS, Ricordia, probably some zoa polyps, etc. Also have some critters such as snails and hermits.

Also selling the live sand for $1/lb (about 80 lbs) oolitic black and white.

After sand and rock is gone, have a yellow tang (about 3") $20, orchid dottyback ($10), two nice bangaiis ($10 each), small clown ($10), yellow coris wrasse ($25), and a sand sifting blennie ($10).

Also have a volleyball size hunk of chaeto (free).

I'd like to get rid of as much as possible ASAP so PM me with an offer.

Good deal on that Real Reef rock. Is it "base rock" or other forms like "shelves" "branches" etc?

Price Drop

I'd like to get rid of the live rock ASAP. Dropping to $2.50/lb or $2.00 for the entire thing. This is about 1/3 the price you'd pay retail. Other than a few aptasia, no known pests and some cool critters.

Great Christmas Gift

Great Christmas Gift

For the whole family:

The wife will love it as an exfoliator. All natural, better than a loofa (I have the scars to prove it).

The kids can build a fort with it (just ask any jawfish)

Grandma can use it on her corns.

Even the cat will love it either as a scratching post or, after judicious use of a sledgehammer, as kitty litter.

You just can't go wrong.

I would love to get some live rock. Timing is just terrible!!!! I have 4 kids and Christmas is right around the corner. I have a new 55 gal build that is in desperate need of LR!!!! I asked that wife about exfoliating and she scoffed at me (Really!!!) she is afraid the kids will hurt themselves while building a fort, the grandma here(my mom) already had surgery on her corns and i dont have a cat :-(. If you still have it after the holiday season let me know :-)

I'd take a few pounds if you still have some. Wouldn't be able to pick it up until the weekend though.
