Tank size for anthias

I've always thought anthias where like tangs and need large (4'+) tanks. But I've notice in a lot of threads lately folks are putting them in 40breeders and sometimes smaller.

So my question is, what is a good anthias for a standard 65? Only other tanks mate will be a clown and goby right now.

You can keep the bartlett solo or 2-3 in a 65 gallon. Dispars are also fine. The carryberri are slightly larger from my experience.

I have kept a small group of Bartletts in a 40B happily as long as there is plenty of flow for them to swim against (think 'endless' pools). Sure, bigger is better, but I think you could do it.
