Tank upgrade

A week or so ago I noticed my 40 breeder was collecting salt on the bottom near the trim. It's a petco special, real special. Anyway, I thought it was from watwr running down the glass, but it leaking up from underneath, and the salt is building up as a result.

So now I'm in the market for a new tank. The largest tank I can have is 36" wide, hence the 40B. I was thinking about getting something bigger, but not as long. 60 cube comes to mind.

Anyone have any thoughts on any other sizes that I might consider?

I seen a deep dimension 150 for a reasonable price on Craigslist. I know you said you didn't want 36" wide again but you never know.

What are the dimensions? What I have is only 36 inches wide area to put a tank. So nothing bigger than 3 feet will fit where my display is currently. I'm not opposed to a 3 footer, but I just can't go any bigger.

I will have a 65 for sale in a few weeks. 36 long x24 x24. I think I have another tank that may be a 40 breeder.

Ted - Those dimensions sound pretty good.

I might switch my tanks to the other wall. I have a couple non-drilled 75g and 90 and a 110. I have a side drilled 90 and a rear drilled 40B.

Yeah the 65 will be at the picnic. It's currently in use, but once Acer gets his new tank it will be emptied.

yep- currently in use. It maybe in full use, empty, or being emptied during the picnic. I am emailing SCA today to determine when my new 150 will be arriving. Also, awaiting various plumbing parts to arrive, etc.

If you want a sump for it - i am selling the 30 gallon AIO. would make an excellent refugium.

I have a 40 breeder in the basement as a sump. So I don't need a new sump, thanks though. Although, I'm thinking of upgrading from to a prebuilt, trigger systems maybe. I haven't decided yet.
