Tanked....

Thats why it should be interesting its sooooo bad. Its like a car wreck. Horrible but u wanna see.... Or the jersey shore....

Actually after thinkin of it. Alot of business have aquariums mayb that is for a car restoration place. Clever idea if i say so myself but hopefully they didnt use the floorpan as the base of the tank. Yikes

it's more for entertainment for the masses that don't know much about fish/reef keeping... just like Sons of Guns.... Any true enthusiast that knows about the hobby wouldn't really take it seriously just more for entertainment.

I also find that jealousy makes people talk down on things. Even as stupid as Jersey shore is do you think they care about what people think and say? Hell no they're making bank, and this creates jealousy. If you had the chance you'd join there crew in a heart beat.

It's a cool show, great crew, but it looks more like highlights on each system. It would be better if they could go into more details on each system, like equipment used and such. Personally I would like to see shows like LA fishguy show on tv.

LA fish guy show!?! Havent heard of that....? What channel is that on?

I think Tanked will be funny to watch, but yea wish itll be in more detail....cant wait for it to start though. I think in general any aquarium show would b interesting, Id watch, and is better than nothing at all!

I saw a preview for it yesterday it looks like it has potential... remember they build the aquariums to specs for the people buying them.. Yeah the car looks lame but someone paid them to do it.. so more power to em..

I really hope you all will join me in emailing ATM, Animal Planet, and calling the Discovery Network ethics hotline and detesting this show for their outright buffoonish antics and malconsideration for fish as sentient beings. Their pandering to the needs of wealthy buyers is unsettling, and unnerving enough. But with the likes of the ASPCA, PITA, Sea Shepard, and Robert Wintner on our industry I fear this show will bring our hobby even closer to its end.

Oh god I hate when people from other states post in our local forums and try to recruit us to do their bidding

unnerving... give us a brake. I believe show like this will help to rise interest to our hobby. Which will help industry to bring new product on the market develop new technology and do some more fundamental research. Yes it is a show but how else you can flame some interest to this hobby among youngsters? Or you think less or none is better...
