Tanks Coming Back!

Well over the past few weeks the tank is coming back to stability. The alk nitrites, nitrates, ammonia and ph is great! My red slime algae is finally going away and the tank is coming along great...thanks for everyone whos helped me even though ive asked dumb questions and given a hard time. Having patience pays off in this hobby and ive learned it finally!!
 
What kind of test kit did you use and what type of measurement is that? There are multiple ways to measure alkalinity: dKH, meq/l, and ppm. dKH is most common. 3.5 meq/l would be the high end of a "normal" range, and very low for dKH.

Did you get a calcium test kit yet? The salifert kits are nice, about $15-20, and last for several months.
