Sorry for what you are about to read... I couldn't resist. In there lies a question though...
---
Once upon a midnight dreary, while I watched TV weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious episode of mission to mars.
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
as of someone gently rapping, rapping on my aquarium glass.
'Tis some oddity', I muttered, 'tapping on my aquarium glass -
Only this, and nothing more'
Up I heaved my slight bulk from the couch and trodded over
curious as to what the tapping sound coming from my Aquarium glass..
Seeing nothing out of the ordinary, off I trod my weary body,
through the portal that was my bedroom door.
Into the chamber turning, all my curiosity burning,
Soon again I heard a tapping, somewhat louder than before.
'Surely' said I, 'Surely that is something taping on my Aquarium glass;
Let me see then, what threat is, and this mystery explore -
let my heart be still and this mysterly explore; -
'Tis a mouse and nothing more!'
Away then came I back to the tank, and grabbed a flashlight to pierce the night
and perched upon the side of the glass, was a Margarita Snail twisting fast.. Tap tap tapping on my Aquarium glass.
'What the eff!' said I peering, into the tank and slightly fearing,
as I watched not one but THREE snails dancing.
Tap tap tapping, on my aquarium glass.
Through the night they did their dance,
heartily I could hear them prance as they tapped on the glass..
Resolved did I to ask this question, why the snails did this prancing
tapping tapping on the glass.. was it some sort of mating dance?
