Tap water TDS higher in winter?

This past summer my tap water TDS was always below 200, usually around 140.

I just checked it again today and it is 560. I am still producing 0 tds water, but this seems like a big difference.

Does the tds of water fluctuate that much?

The quality does fluctuate seasonally due to variations in the water the municipal authority draws from. Rotting leaves in the fall, road salt in the winter, and lawn and farm chemicals in the spring and summer all play a role in affecting tapwater.

Our water authority draws from the Alleghney and TDS usually drops as the water comming in gets colder. Summer about 200, winter about 140. That's in New Ken.
