Taught me a lesson!

Since owning a saltwater tank and being a novice reefer, it's really put things into perspective as how fragile this ecosystem is. I've caught myself reading labels on soaps looking for phosphates, checking before dumping things down the drain and using herbal lawn therapies, insecticides, and pesticides. Everything that goes in the ground eventually falls into a water-table. It's just really been an eye opener. I'm wondering if I'm alone in this revelation. I dare say I'm not. :wave:

You are not alone. Not only am I reefer but I also work at a waste water plant. So I am now much more aware of what gets put down the drains.
