This October the monthly TBRC meeting will be held at Jae Kang's (flworkd) house. This is the first meeting ever held at Jae's house. Jae just recently finished his DIY 48w x 96L x 24H 3/4" acrylic tank. He has 54W T5 lighting and DIY blue LED's as well as a 100G sump + 30G sump, Royal Exclusive Alpha 300 cone skimmer and an Apex controller.

October is also the month for the TBRC elections for 2011 board positions. All of the positions are open and need candidates. Please help out if you can and run for a board position for the club that you all enjoy and want to see remain for years to come for not only us reefers, but for all the newbies out there that need help, just like we did when we were starting out in the hobby. The more people we have on the board the easier it is to get the job done to have a successful club.

Yes, because we skipped a meeting for September and we will not have an educational topic since we have the elections.

Jae has an amazing tank. Truly something to aspire to! Will be well worth the drive!
 
Meeting was great, had a good time, good food, but the Japchae (stir fried glass noodles with beef and veggies) that Mimi made, those are delicious...the Ambrosia, and that Hawaiian bread were great.

Keep it up Jae!

A Big Thank you to Jae , and his lovely wife , for hosting the meeting , in their beautiful home . Jae your tank , and suport system is AWESOME . I was very impressed . I love the look you are getting from your T-5 ,LED combination . You are really making me think about going with LED lighting .
I just can't get over the out put from , that 100 watt LED .

BTW the food was superb . I had a great time .

It was a great meeting. Jae's tank did not disappoint me at all. It was beautiful. My only regret was that I never did see his adjoining fish room so I will have to visit him again, oh well. lol The food was awesome as always but Mimi did a superb job and it is so nice to try ethnic foods at our club meetings. I hope she brings those dishes to future meetings. We had some other great recipes too. It is really getting to be a challenge to see who brings the favorite dish of the night!
Election went well, a little humorous that nobody wanted to use the official ballots. But we did. The auction was fun. So much friendly competition. All turned out just nice and we had a good time. :dance::dance:
If you missed it, too bad.:lmao:
 
We would also like to thank Jae and Mimi for a wonderful meeting.The food was great the tank was awesome and the outside mechanical room was really nice. Good job to everyone who participated.
