TDB's 320 SPS Rebuild

Great looking tank. I think you might need a shoe horn to fit another frag in there lol.

Ha ha good one!

Looks great Tom:thumbsup:

Hello ED, how are you system(s)? you have some of the best colors on the net, will need to research your latest update!

Amazing tank. The colour is so deep.

Thanks! They all browned out about 6 months ago when I found an exploded magnet. I am glad to get them back so quickly.

I have not had a STN event on any frags and I think the colors are a tad better and the fish are more colorful.

Just a skimmer and filter sock but it is usually overflowing for a week or two before it gets changed. No GFO or Carbon. I think the large amount of corals consume many of the nutrients that the sock, bacteria and skimmer dosent get.

Intetesting ,
Did you experience STN at 79f ?maybe this is coincident but i have a few acros got STN starting last month , tank temp get 79f
Maybe i should lower to 76.5-77F

Yes at higher temp and every once in a while, I think they are healthier at temp I mentioned

I just caught up with the July picture dump. Wow, what more can be said. Frag tank looks like a pile of color crayons!

Interesting about the temp. I've been letting mine float between 79 and 80 but I'm tempted to cool it a few degrees.

Well I'm bumping this thread because....do i really need to explain it? I love acros and he's got them all. Any update? Are things still growing as they were? Hope things are still going well.

Looks awesome. A very serious collection and farming skills!
You mentioned you ditched the biopellets. I'd like to get more info on your success/frustration with this approach and process of ditching them (I imagine you used less and less media over time so it was a gradual thing) and subsequent observations. I've used biopellets and bacteria dosing for years and have had great success (and challenges) yet remains one of the least well understood aspect of my system as it's a unique blend of mechanical/biological export

Incredible!Everything from the lighting to the livestock is off the chain, the sticks are insane and I really like the zoos in the back panel too.Looking forward to an update.

So much to learn from this thread.

Newbies to the hobby, people like me, need to read this stuff.
