TDB's 320 SPS Rebuild

Took the time to read thru your thread and all I can say is WOW! what an amazing collection of types and colors of acro's. Had to look twice, just can't believe what I saw. :)
 
Here's a question I haven't seen asked and maybe have skimmed over in the beginning of the thread. I know you're bare bottom on this. Are your rocks directly on the glass? Or do you set something down to even out the weight distribution so you don't have several hundred pounds coming down on a few points. I'm going to emulate this type of scape when I redo my tank and would like tips on how you're able to get the rocks placed with enough flow under them and safe weight distribution. Sand had always helped for me in the past to absorb some rock weight.

You have an outstanding collection of beautiful corals. The colors are also amazing! Would love to see the recent full tank or cross side shot to take it all into perspective. I am sure it is just as amazing as your coral shots. Well done!
