Received my new TDS meter in the mail today, dont you just love new toys?

Anyways, my well tap water is 31.4 ppm. How does that compare? Bad? Decent? I know I still need to use an RO/DI filter, I'm just curious.

That's pretty darn good where in Michigan do you live? I live in commerce and have well water. My tap water is 424 after RO/DI its between 1 and 0.

I'm in Harrison, north of CMU 35 mins. We have mostly sugar sand around here under 4 tf in the ground, so our water is sand filtered. All my relatives and friends from down state bring jugs up to take our water home in, they love it.

before 220ppm
after RO/DI 0ppm

a TDS of 34.1 doesn't sound that bad to use but most would advise to use RO/DI.

I wish my water was twice as bad as yours. My tap water is anywhere from about 710 ppm to over 900 ppm. :eek1:

That makes me feel a little better about mine sitting at 550 out of the tap. :p
