I think it would be cool just packed with corals.
I am sorry for your loss
Have you considered a Sebea Anemone and a pair of skunk clowns? I just bought some and love them. I was told that the skunk clowns are more peaceful than other clowns. It is really awesome to watch them loving on the anemone.
Anyways I will be tagging along with you and your journey.
Adult skunks can get pretty nasty too when they become territorial.
I have decided on a stocking list and i will be getting them for christmas.
3 longspine cardinalfish
1 tomato/skunk clownfish
1 yellow watchman goby
2 cleaner shrimp
3 sexy anemone shrimp
2 porcelain crabs
Just ordered 15lbs of Flammingo pink sand, i think thats the name. When i get it and the water unclouds i will post pics of new rockwork and my final verdict on my fish orders.
i just got the nem when i took those pics, its happy and buried into the sand (LTA). I am getting a GFO reactor after christmas, and i scrape my algae off the rocks every other day or so. All my params have been stable for over 1 month now so i dont think the algae will go away over time.
water changes every week, sometimes 2 times a week. pretty much whenever i get time. About 5-10 gallons and yes, im using RO/DI water. I preheat the water and mix it with salt for about 3 hours before adding it to the aquarium.
my skimmer is starting back up after a short break, probably because there was nothing at all in the tank. Hopefully it can help pick up some algae that is free floating.
Thanks for the concern!
ill see what i can do about expediting the gfo. I have had this algae for a little bit, and although it seems to get a little bit thicker it doesnt spread off the rocks it is on.
I dont test for phosphorous. although, i think the lighting started it, because at the beginning of this tank i let the light stay on for 10+hrs, not thinking that algae would start. I am definatly only having 1 hr of light per day, i originaly planned 4, but 1 would be better right now.
