Tenius care/growth secrets?

Hi,
I was wondering if there's some reason tenius corals don't grow well in my tank. Most every other coral grows very well. Montipora, red planets, lokani, etc all grow great just most of tenius (purple plasma, joe the coral, etc.)frags don't. It's kind of silly seeing large mille's and other colonies surrounding these small tenius frags that were placed at the same time.
Lighting is 400W 14K Ushios, decent current, decent parameters except maybe some nitrates. Glass needs cleaning just once every few days.
Thanks for any insights.

placed up higher my tenius seem to have more white/green to them, blue tips seem to be paler/faster to lighten when placed up higher but the growth is better

Kept down low my tenius have far more blue and less white/green transition from the tip to the body, mostly a baby blue intense powder blue

i've noticed tenius in my tank to be slow growers when compared to milli's

PE? My tenuis all seem to have decent colour and PE, but not huge in the growth area I fragged this large purple aussie tenuis I had maybe a month ago and they are just now starting to encrust on the plugs.

I can get tenuis to grow but haven't had luck with mollies lately. Maybe we need to combine forces.

I have an ORA tenuis and it is growing well and gets great PE. I have it placed lower in the tank but it still gets pleny of light and good flow. Tips are a purple blue color. I have only had it about a month but it is doing very well. Its funny though as my Red Planet is not happy, lost its green and turned a red brown. I had it placed low in the tank at first but have moved it up. Still looks like crap. ?

My tenius grow great under HIGH par

This one gets 800-850 par for 2 1/2 hours a day
Brown spot on left is where I just fragged a peice on top of it.

I think purple plasma is a stag, I could be wrong.

I have a purple tip placed about midway up, and it is growing well...love the color of it! I don't add any supplements, just once a week water changes, it is actually keeping up with my stylophora.

They need lots of light, Ive found that the superblue tenuis is a slower grower and the green with with blue tips.

This coral grew very well under xm 10k's but then again pretty much everything grows well under that lamp
