They'd delete it. I once posted a fish for sale there and they deleted it because they sell fish. They read RC, I guarantee it. My big $9 refund magically appeared after my original post gained a little steam here on RC.

If I post it, they'll delete it for sure. If someone else is inclined, feel free to copy it over or link to my post in the vendor feedback forum here on RC. They probably have a rule against linking but...

Hey Jordan, this swf thing is pretty much a done deal. I just post negative feedback whenever I have the opportunity. I figure if I can swing a few sales elsewhere, I'll be happy.

The tank is great. Growing far too much. I'm going to have to hire a full time fragger pretty soon

norm, i've taken your post and many a times told others to stay away from them. An idea is what is their email your banned from, wouldn't it be a hoot if we all sent them an email stating we'll never buy from them, i'm sure we're not blocked.

yeah I was thinking something along those line but just didn't bring it up.

What would be funny would be to write a nice long letter explaining how we feel thier service to thier customers are poor and we demand a response. If not we have everyone send them an email. And then if not, we forward the email out to any other fish clubs we can find and have them send in a response also asking for them to explain themselves. But I am guessing if it gets too bad. they will just change thier email. now how funny would that be.....

Anyone good at writing a nice formal letter?

but is it slander if you are only expressing actual events? yeah, saying you suck is slander but saying we would like you to address your return policy or else...... hehe.

Only 3 crieteria have to be met for it to be considered libel:
1) The statement has been made to a third party.
2) The statement referred to the plaintiff. (This does not mean that the statement has to refer expressly to the plaintiff. A statement can be actionable if it is reasonably capable of referring to the plaintiff).
3) The statement must be defamatory, which means that it must be a false statement to the plaintiff's discredit.
#3 is where you get into the thin line of hear say versus fact!

The moral of the story - buy from a legit online vendor (or better yet) LFS with a good track record. swf.com does not meet these criteria IME.

I just want to say before I was a Reefer I was a SWF.com lurker... They do not allow any negitive post about them. and They do not allow links(even for photos).. I switched over here becuase simply the people were nicer. I like most of them over there but Mostly it was abunch of nah sayers. YOu cant have this, you cant do that, your a newbi!!! Over here You guys will listen to people and try to expain things rather than dismiss someone. And I know this is about there customer service but it makes me wonder if all these people are ordering from them... no wonder their panties are all up in a wad!!!
