[/IMG] close up of the pink polyp cap, the triangle shaped indentation is the print of the original frag, this is 2 months growth.

Cerianthus are so pretty...I had one that got too big and started catching my fish. :( That was a long time ago.

Nice photos, thanks for sharing.

Lisa,

I'm pretty sure that is a tube anemone. They are very neat and can be extremely colorful but they can and will catch the fish in your tank.

yeah, you have to have fast fish !
they don't really have a nasty sting, but they're very "sticky" and, with those long tentacles, somewhat hard for fish to avoid.

You've got to let me know where you got the Linkia multiflora. I have had great experience with starfish, but the best I could find is my marble star, which I've had forever. As nice as it is, its like a cheap knock-off of the multiflora...

i got it from reefermadness with a frag order, don't know where you are in pa but the pet store in the dubois mall had a bunch of healthy linkia multiflora last time i was there

Wow, that's like 4 hrs from me. I hate ordering starfish online. They seldomly pack them well enough. Poor shippers.:(

How are you keeping that tube anemone in a BB tank? I used to have one when I had a DSB, but have it up when I switched substrates.
