Well just got back from SITC. As much as i love the store i hate the traffic of getting there. UGH its the only downside. but none the less. I picked up a gorgeous male lyretail anthia, and some drygoods, Marcye tossed in a free acro frag polyps are already extending. had to re-glu it down tho. None the less Marcye was great as always. Getting more from her on Tuesday.
Thank you again Marcye

Hey Sean whats up. I just got a blue hippo from there Sunday. I have been there twice and still havent met Marcye! I seem to always go on sunday. So I guess you still have your tank going. I thought you were selling everything? I think its funny how myself, Brian, and you used to all drive DSM's and try and make them fast and now we are all into SW tanks. And Marcye...about the angel I cant decide. I heard you have a nice swallowtail there. I really like the flame angels but maybe I'll stop by and look at that swallowtail. Who knows maybe I'll buy her. Are you there on Saturdays?

Lol, I'm looking forward to meeting you Dave, I've heard so much about you;) We rotate days on the weekends so that I get one off once in a while:) I'll be there Saturday, so come by if you are in the area. Hey Thor...you tang lover you!! How are the "kids" doing? I miss that black tang...what a beauty. Tom and I are still very envious....he would have looked great in the new 300;) BTW, I spoke to a friend of yours from NC today...very nice guy. He said "hi."

Marcye, i am developing a little bit of a concern w/ the anthia, now that i've had a chance to study and look at him up close his eyes are a little cloudy and appears as if the ends of his fins are "dry" almost like a fin rot type of look. He's been spending time w/ the cleaners and they've been picking plenty off of him. I soaked all the food tonight in selcon and garlic tonight. Hoping to boost his health a little bit. Not sure what the deal is but he is very active none the less. a whole lot less shy in this tank than at the store. Anyways i guess i'll keep you posted.

Dave i'd go with any type of swallow tail over a pygmy angel, marcyes got a gorgeous female japanese masked swallowtail. l think it had an eye injury but appeared healthy, active and eating well otherwise. Definitely would appreciate the room in your tank. not to mention it is reef safe.

yeah he was the guy that told me i would be insane not to buy the black tang (my pride and joy). Hopefully he gave you some great info! All kids are fabulous!!!

He did...I gave him some leads as well. He'll be back in touch with me when he gets back from his trip. Thanks for everything...you're the best!

Update: After doing much reading and talking w/ others, i've found that anthias are overly stressful. My cleaner shrimps just to note pick at everything in the tank. fins and the left eye of the anthia are definitely much much better. right eye is clearing up slowly. he eats like a pig, w/ the exception of today, but i've been feeding heavily since i got him and my other fish have even slowed down w/ eating. probably need to lay off a little w/ the food. Anyways my sunburst anthia is giving him a little bit of a hard time. but none the less he's a champ(lyretail). I can't wait to get the females on tuesday. Again Marcye thank you for everything. All of my oldest fish are from your store. My sunburst included. he's definitely one of a kind, loves hi-lite, and bully of the tank. no one would believe it.
