Sanford empowered us all with new confidence in our fragability by whacking into that Acan with a hammer..... ew .... the slime. But it worked as did the other unusual coral frags demonstrated. I learned a lot tonight.
It was great to see the famous "Shed" and the Carson's beautiful tank.
The barbeque was delicious (ymmm... the hot BBQ sauce was the best). I hope no one noticed that I helped myself to 3rds?
The door prizes were fun! I'm not sure who won the Strontium (donated by Memfish) or the Salifert Alk test kit. Carson won the phosphate fighting Sea Gel and Bill won the neon green sarcophyton frag.
But .... the real hostess of the evening and all around show stealer was ....... baby Chloe. She had smiles for everyone and was the life of the party all evening.
Thanks for the good company on the drive, Vicki. Thanks, BJ for the help organizing and handing out membership cards.
I enjoyed meeting new members, putting more faces to names that we see online, and seeing familiars, too.
