I replaced all the filters on my mighty mite ro/di over the weekend. I was very careful to put everything back just like it was initially set up. Only problem was I was getting wastewater but no ro/di water. I tried everything I knew. I took it by PC Fix, better known now as Filter Fix, to see if Dave could help me figure it out. We hooked it up and Dave finally took the tubing off the cartridge where the finished product comes out and out flowed the water. Seems the tubing was stopped up. After one big puff of air into the tubing, it began working. A big thanks to Dave. It is so nice to have someone near who can help out in a fix. His new setup is very impressive too.

How were you able to determine it was waste water and not RODI? Do you test the output for ppm?

Well after the filter change ALL of the water was coming out the waste line and nothing through the ro/di.
The water was making its way to the ro/di exit alright but the blockage at the tube entrance was the problem.
As soon as I cleared out the blockage it ran the two separate waters as it should of (waste and RO/DI). I personally test for TDS but not sure if Vicki does.

I do check TDS with the free TDS monitor. Several of us in the WTMRAC (several JARC members were WTMRAC members at the time). One of our old club members, Dell from Blytheville, told us about the offer. I have only replaced the battery it in one time and it works like a charm.
