Thank you Marty and Indra for everything, it was all great! The meeting was more than informative and it was great seeing everybody again. You guys were absoutely wonderful. I'm already planning my next steps after seeing your setup. Thanks for the inspiration.

Ditto to all the above, plus thanks for letting me charge up my GPS. Without it, I would have been very lost getting to I-40E. As it was I had to wait in traffic almost an hour on the interstate anyway. They were doing bridge work in Fayette County and it was down to one lane.

Wonderful meeting and hospitality Marty and Indra!

The door prizes come from dues from all of you members in combination with the generous disccounts and outright donations from our wonderful sponsors and members.

THANKS to Memfish, Kermits, Dave (dzones) and Marty for the door prize items tonight!

I also need to mention that Bill brought a bag of snails for the door prizes and I am soooooo embarassed to say that I thought he was giving them to me when he handed me the bag so I didn't think to add them to the drawing. OOPS! I'm really sorry about that, but happy to have the snails. Bill I"m happy to pay you what the snails are worth because I sure didn't mean to take them. Thanks for doing that! Donations for door prizes are always welcome and help save the club budget.

As always, I enjoyed the company. Thanks, Richard for speaking and Marty for hosting. The tank is GORGEOUS!! I am truly jealous of the slick, no mess quick water change thing. Sigh ..... some day ..............

Your pizza was awesome. I think that future meetings should be organized similar to this. You really planned things well. Great job.

Cathy, I had posted that I would swap snails for frags!!
As we had discussed "fluffy" needs some siblings!! :D
Trust me you owe me nothing!!
Besides it was hard to hear anyone, specifically with the "ABSOLUTLY WONDERFULL" turnout to the meeting!!!
I will bring some snails for raffle to the christmas party!!
Besides I am beginning to feel guilty(well not really) for having won all the great door prizes I have recently!! Thanks for donating the Kalkwaser reactor DZones!!)

Also, the presentation for the meeting using the projector was great!! maybe the club could get one at some point, no wait, enough of us are in businesses where we should be able to scrape one up for the monthly meetings, Maybe we could purchase the "Projector Screen" from Marty that he bought for this meeting
:mixed: :lol::

Thanks for welcoming us in your home. Food was great - Indra - there is a restaurant space available that would make a great Chicago style eatery...hint hint.
Marty - your tank was looking beautiful.
Lisa and I really enjoyed ourselves. I haven't been to a meeting in almost a year. I almost forgot why I started the club to begin with...last night was a great reminder.

That's what happens when you start your own business. We were gald you made it back it was nice to have you and Lisa there.

Marty, Those name tags really helped, we should think about getting clip ons that we can reuse at every meeting.

i to had a good time, the way marty talked we would be shoulder to shoulder, with no room to move.i started to ask what room the bowling alley was in,now we realy may be shoulder to shoulder at my house but i still hope to see everyone in JAN,it was nice to see everyone together,

Our Pleasure WTMRAC!

Wow! You folks are quite magnanimous.
Thank you all very much for your extremely kind words.

I won’t tell you it wasn’t a deliberate and considerable effort, but it was our pleasure to have the Club at our home. Moreover, it’s great to put a face with an avatar name, so I’m glad the name tags proved helpful.

It was also pretty cool for us to introduce many of you to “Real” pizza, and not the commercial stuff that is available here locally. Maybe someday we’ll do something more involved, but I like it when we turn folks on to my wife’s pizza. You should all know that “The $pousal Unit’s” recipe is largely based upon a hugely popular pizzeria secret recipe from “Sweet Home Chicago”, which she adapted. For over eight years now since moving to TN, I’ve told Indra that her pizza is still the best in Memphis.

I’d also like to thank Lisa “cateyes” and Richard “Rendos” for all your help, support and dedication. Lisa, Indra really appreciated your pre-party assistance. (Okay! There! I did it. I called it a “Party”, because “WE” had a great time, and treated it as such!!) Richard, as expected, you delivered a quality product, as a “hobbyist”. Personally, I was delighted that you agreed to lead our discussion. Thank You Buddy!

You and Dave shouldn’t feel estranged, just because of your relationships to the LFS. There is no conflict guys. Please continue to participate in the Club Meetings, because your insights are expert. Also, thanks for the Door prizes. (BJ, I owe you an Aqua-Mag, seeing as though you declined to take mine.)

I’d also like to thank Malisa “glitzyone” and Preston “kroger451” for their contributions to my tank. (Malisa, I honestly have no idea where I’m going to put that monster, but after “dzones” nabbed “bschmake’s” monti, I knew I wanted your’s. Preston iced the cake with another good sized one, so thanks guys.

To our newest prospects, “ihavetats” & “rneergaard”, I hope you had a chance to network with the Members and tap their vast knowledge. Welcome! Glad you’re here.

We look forward to seeing all y’all at the Christmas Party… er… Meeting.
