Hey,
Just wanted to Thank everyone on this forum for all the reading and learning I have done, and a special thank you to everyone who has sold me items and let me pick their brain for a little bit about this involved hobby.

So I just added all my rock to the system a few minutes ago, I am happy with the scape but please let me know if you see anything wrong with it, I still wanna break apart a leftover rock and fill in a few gaps that I can see but besides that it seems very sturdy. I tried to use as little surface on the floor to get rid of dead spots but thats all I knew I was looking for if you have and critiques please let me know because I am probably just oblivious to something if it doesnt look like it will work.

Looks like a great start. What size is that? I've been at it for a while but I remember how excited I was when I finally hit the "on" switch. Then seeing the first specks of coralline algae in the glass a few weeks after it cycled was even more exciting.

Good times! Looks like you're off to a great start. Your personal tastes will dictate what direction you take it. For most of us that's a blank canvas. Enjoy the process!

It's a 75gallon purchased off of URS thanks for the support gonna figure out what I'm gonna do for lighting in the fuge today tank is in week 3 of cycling so fish will be coming in a week or 2 after

Damn, that's my dream tank. I know a lot of guys really lust after the huge tanks, but the 75 is my ideal, because of my short girl arms. Your rockwork is great for a first time effort. It's clear to me that you have a knack for it. I envy the trip ahead of you. Best of luck.

Just keep testing and go slow. Did you do anything to the rocks before you put them in? Watch for leaching phosphates. Other than that- looks awesome. Good luck.

Thanks everyone, I soaked them over 2 days in RO/DI water, I hope that is enough?

Dunno. I used live, cured rock to start. I did add some base rock without soaking (just a mild rinse) and it leached phosphate for a little while. I hear some rock is better than others. Sorry I can't help. But with no livestock, you have plenty of time even if you do get spikes.

I am having phosphate issues with my Pukani rock from BRS. Has been in the tank for 5 months.
