That d**n goby needs punishment!

So, is there anything I can do about my Diamond watchman goby stealing my Zoas, Mushrooms, frogspawn for his own decorations in his cave?

I yell and scream and it does nothing, would more shells be useful for him? Is there any way to avoid this? I think he just took my frag of Blue Hornets into his shag palace -__-:headwally:

Is the goby on its own or with a pistol shrimp. If you have a shrimp in there that's your theif. And the little guys can move frags and anything else that's nearby. My pistol is a clepto.

Try giving him a big handful of rubble/shells/etc to keep him busy. He's looking for materials to build a safehouse, can't really blame him for wanting to not be eaten.

Adding more rubble did help a little but in the end I moved my diamond watchman to the refugium. Mine didnt steal frags as much(although he did kill a tyree toadstool frag that way), he did bury them all the time and seemed to like taking a mouth full of sand then raining it on everything as he swam across the tank. In the fuge he can do whatever he wants, he buried all the pvc pieces in there already.

Also gluing isnt an option for items on the sand bed, i did use putty to hold everything in place on the rock work, but goby's are strong when it comes to moving things.
