any new pics?

how is your copperband doing? do you still have him?

I like your tank, just wondering...

Thanks, No new pics but I will take some when I get the aquascape redone.

My copperband did awesome for a long time then out of nowhere died. He was eating good or at least appeared to be. I'm not sure what actually happened.

good to hear from you anyway. I think a lot of us have been having a tough year.

Thanks Jonathan, is there something going on with you that I don't know about? :(

So if the year's date changes, the tank will do better? You've obviously had your hands full with family & health issues for some time now. That has to take its toll on your hobby. :(

Not that you have the time to do it, but if you do, it might be therapeutic to focus on your reef to get your mind off the other stuff that hits you seemingly daily. It is an area you get to control completely, if you know what I mean.

Looking forward to your pictures. :)

So true what Marc says. Although it can be frustrating at times, it's better than focusing on health issues and worrying yourself silly.

I have had back problems all Summer and now into Winter. As if the brain damage isn't enough, I have physical stuff going too.

Hopefully with the year's date change, things will calm down a bit and I might have more energy to focus on my hobby. I hope anyway... Although I think I said the same thing at the end of 2007! :eek1:

Actually whne the rocks fell it did force me to focus somewhat on my tank. I had forgotten how much fun I had when I would mess around with it. When my husband came home and saw me trying to build the rock back up he commented that he used to see me with my hands in the tank almost every day and this was the first in a while. I hope to do that more often. :D And yes I know what you mean. :)

I'm sorry, I do remember reading something about some back problems a while ago. I hoped things had improved since then. Sorry to hear it hasn't. :( Hang in there...

I was quite frustrated while trying to build my rocks back up and thought I had it good only to find I need to tear it back down and start over again! :mad2:

Sorry to hear the news Micki! I too have had a terrible year! I am hoping for a change in 09!

I understand too what Marc and Jonathan are saying. Working on the tank can be therapeutic. Hopefully you will have some good news for the next post!

I'm sorry to hear that Gabriel. I do remember reading something about your Grandfather passing? I love the avatar. Kind of reminds me of my Grandpa. I lost him when I was 12 years old. I don't think I'll ever get over that. 2009 is going to be a good new year for the Reefers!!! :D

On the subject of your vacation.... we just got back from Destin this past weekend. Don't you just love it? I was just sitting here thinking, "this time a week ago we were....." :( sad. hehe. Did you take your whole family? We've been going down there for about 15 yrs. and everytime we say, "next time, it'll just be us" and the next time we take Somebody! Oh well, it's always fun.
Looking forward to some undated tank pics!
