LOL it was interesting that's for sure! They suggest just pushing it down the steps... I said, NOT!!!

When I was at Joels place he had several Triggers. I bought a Picasso and O Niger. He's going to hold them for me until I'm ready. :)

It looks like I posted about my little girl mandarin missing on December 21st. I think she had been missing for at least a few weeks before that. I lost track of time when my Mom went in the hospital. My guess is she spent at least a month in the overflow with the chromis. Hopefully they make it.

Boy I sure don't miss that task!! Those big tanks are a PAIN to move up/ down stairs.

As for fish recommendations... since there aren't any corals...a bunch of butterflies would looks cool! I've always wanted some but almost all of them eat coral.

Well a few of the studs are up!

The tank will sit in this section with the wall built around it.

This part is so fun Micki...don't forget the electrical wires! I particularly enjoyed the wallboard mudding...what fun!

LOL Well, in this case I'm just the photographer! :) I don't do much of the "behind the scenes" stuff. When we built our house 12 years ago I did help as much as I could. Funny how I haven't been asked to help much with these kind of projects. I guess I left a lasting impression! :D

By the way, if I did anything with the electric part of it... Well lets just say there wouldn't be any tanks to look at. In fact I doubt there would be a house left. ;)

Oh it wasn't hard at all! (For me that is, I was the photographer! :) ) Butterflies?

Are you saying you don't know what butterfly fish are?

I wasnt' thinking when I posted that. I know what they are. I had aggressive on my mind at the time. :)

cool. I hope he likes fish tanks! BTW, Pool table & fish tank are high on the all time list of incompatible furnishings. :D

Well, the pool table is going. We bought it when our kids were younger. They've both moved out and we are ditching it! :D

As for him liking fish tanks... Does he have a choice??? Hello!!! :) He enjoys the mechanical end of the tanks. Although this one will have an eel. He promised our 4 year old granddaughter he would get one for her so they will both be happy! She is already telling everyone that her papaw is getting her an eel! :)

sounds like a cool guy and of course, few men can ignore the mechanical side of large tanks...there's just too much neat stuff to build. :)

We have a local reefer, Vicki on RF, that has more tanks than anyone I know. She has a couple very large display tanks, several nanos, and a large multi-section tank she calls the "Big Nano" which is like a tiered sectioned tank you would see at an LFS, only each section is the size of a nano tank itself. Her husband is a really nice guy and I joked with him about how tolerant he is. He said, "you know, I guess I am!" That house is full of tanks.

What's the granddaughter going to say when she sees the eel eat a fish?? That's always an interesting reaction. ;)

He puts up with a lot from me. :D He built out house so he enjoys anything to do with building. We own an Auto Lube (quick lube type place) so he enjoys mechanical things as well. I do the fish/coral he does the rest. :)

As for the eel eating a fish... I hope you mean the ones we feed it and not any of the swimming kind. ;) If she sees it well... I guess the food chin of life will be explained to her. (I'll leave that up to her parents!) LOL
