it's all looking good. That RO/DI unit looks diffeent than the one I got from them. Mine has 2 DI canisters. Does yours have 3?

Thanks jnarowe! Yes we added another DI unit to ours. A friend of mine wasn't going to use it so we hooked it into ours.

It's been some time since I've been on here and tonight when I did, I've sat here for the past couple of hours reading your thread.... wow- to sum it all up- wonderful setup, and I wish you and your family a blessed and healthy New Year! :) Sorry about your pooch, too. Hope everyone's doing well....and looking forward to more updated pictures!

well it may have been asked, but whats keeping the top tank from being bumped off other than its own weight ,and is it safe (really) to have that much weight supported by the walls of another! i like to see the occasional beer can here and there in some of the pics. a sure sign that someones having fun. nice clean workmanship all around.

Thank you for TJ! We do miss our silly Fred :( I'm not sure if I mentioned on here or not but my Mom had her gallbladder removed last Thursday. She did fine and is doing fine from her bypass surgery as well. We feel pretty blessed to have her here and doing good. So far not a bad start for 2007! :)

dga, I'm not sure what you mean about being "bumped" off? If you mean on the stand it sits down in the stand a bit so it can't fall off. As for the weight being supported. One of the reasons we built the sump room was because we needed to have more support under the upstairs tank. So my husband built a wall for that reason. Instead of having a wall going to no where he decided to build a sump room! :) The down stairs tank does not sit directly under the upstairs tank. The wall for that was built off to the side of the support wall. (Does that makse sense? It's early here ya know :) ). Yes from time to time my husband needs a an occasional sip of the Bud Light to end the day. :)

melev Thanks! I didn't have any excitement in my life so I thought I would start a new project! :D I hope it continues progressing as easily as it has so far. At least for the photographer! ;)

sweet tank room Micki! I particularly like the old furniture legs being used to prop up benches! :D Above the fuge on the wall, are those PVC sections to keep the pipe banging down?

Thanks jnarowe! My husband tires to utilize what's laying around. :) If you mean the wood about the fuge yes, that's to hold the piping up. The PVC is part of the water pipe system.

Thanks! This hobby is expensive enough with all the stuff that "has" to be bought so we try to use what we have when we can. :)

I don't know if I mentioned or not, but I caught the powder blue yesterday. I caught the large hippo today. I'm hoping to get the small hippo soon! :)

:) Every time I catch one it's over 12 (daylight) hours until another fish will go in. Except for the lawn mower blenny. I think he slept in there last night!
