The 180 gallon Ocean Reef

Great Looking Start. Is there any reason why you didnt get the tank pre-drilled though?

thanks NewMariner. Yeah, my intention was to maximize as much space as possible for my fish. I also didn't want the internal overflows to get in the way of how I wanted to aquascape.

I'm going for a nice clean look this time around and like the option of cleaning the whole back rather than having coraline build up.

On board for this one, Nice stand. Dude you did that? very nice. If I could do that the boss would def. approve the tank upgrade.

Thanks. The stand and canopy was custom made by a cabinetry designer. He's definitely got some skills in his trade. :hammer:

I think you have to show the boss who's boss and get that 8 footer in there! :strooper:

I'm using a Reefkeeper Lite to control my dosing pumps. I like to try and automate everything in my system so I spend less time in the sump and more time enjoying my display.

The calcium and alkalinity demands are controlled by two brs doser pumps. They run consistently and require no maintenance like a calcium reactor would entail. Although, if I got into a heavy sps dominate tank I would maybe consider one. For now, this works incredibly easy and saves a lot of time.
