The 300 has begun

The fan rocks, I have the same one pullin fresh air into my stand. Got it from red!!

Can you come skin my stand sometime?? Seriously, you saw it, and it's hideous.

Well here's a update on the canopy.

Ok, now I see the Purple Tang. I'll be the first to tell you that I'm color blind. Looked like a dark cave before.

I finally lost the Naso today. He never did really eat when I brought him home. The Purple and Vlamingi are doing great and eat like pigs. I think the Vlamingi has doubled in size since I got him. Won't be long before he's 8-10" in length.

Well here's some new additions from AZSB.

Pineapple Brain Yellow with white stripes

Well here's some more I picked up this weekend.

A fish you can see in my tank if the Purple leaves him a lone. It's a 5-6" Blonde Naso.

Bigred - not that you needed it, but your work gets an "attaboy" approval rating. Can tell it's certainly not your first fishing expedition.

Well here's a few more pics. I still haven't gotten a picture of the Black Leopard Wrasse, Ornate Leopard Wrasse, and a pair of Mandarins. The pair of Mandarins are cool. They cruise around together. Here a picture of the Sunset Wrasse I got and a better picture of the Blonde Naso. Also some nice orange zoo's.

It's actually 5/8" thick I think with a double pain on the bottom. It only has one center brace and the end 4" braces. Since I moved to AZ, I don't have to worry about the earthquakes anymore. My personal preference, I don't care for starphire because it doesn't give you the depth. It only took 4 people to lift it. Well me and my brother in law took it out of my truck. But we're both big guys. I wish I would have done the euro bracing but the price was right on this tank. You're going to need some help lifting your take. I think yours is going to be heavier then mine.

I know this is a ways back in the thread but I'm curious about your starphire comment. What do you mean about it not giving you the depth?

I'm asking because of my own tank in the works... I've ordered a 48"x24"x24" flat polish euro-braced with starphire on the front and two sides... I had them hold off on it though cause I wanted to know how much extra going with 30" of depth will run me $$$ wise? If it's not too much more I'm going with the 30"(front to back wise) depth.

Now you have me curious about your depth comment though... Could you explain a bit please? One other question I have is I had never heard about it till I ordered this tank but I keep hearing how I'm gonna have to be real careful with the starphire cause it's "softer" than regular glass and scratches easy. If I'm real careful shouldn't it be ok?

Thanks
