It controls AC voltage devices that have the ability to be ramped up and down without causing product issues.
Imagine an auto house hold light dimmer switch, same concept.
There were a few Philips T5 ballasts that could be controlled like this a while back and also a hydor pump. Normal pumps typically will start to bounce as they need the full voltage capacity to turn.
But the dimmable socket can also function like the other 4 sockets? Like it is programmable or it must be used as a dimming socket?
When are these due for release?
