No I'm talking about planktons post on azreefs about the forum only open for a limited time per Jason asking.

Jason from the FRAG group has requested that I reopen the site so some members can grab their photos and/or information. I'll make this available for a week or so.

You are mistaken.
The title of this thread, the one you are in now is "The AZ FRAG site and local forums are UP!!!!!"
This forum is brand new and has nothing to do with that post. That post is regarding azreefs.com NOT the one Jason is announcing here.

I was mistaken BUT WHY is az reefs only open a limited time. That's what I get for jumping around to the different sites.

Ah, well I was hinting that you should have posted that as a separate topic and not within this thread...but no worries. The answer is posted on our FB page I quote.
"Okay here is what I have found out about the situation. I have contacted the owner of AZreefs.com and he has shut the website down because of the lack of traffic. Reason being because we Arizona reefers are too scattered about within FB pages, forums, etc. Thus giving AZreefs minimal traffic. As for the archive of the azreefs info that is still safe, not lost, and being privately discussed. We will try to inform you all more as new info is available."
Some folks were upset they didn't get a notice so they could move, save stuff and so forth, hence the owner re-opening it for a limited time.
