The best algae scrappers.

I have this one too. Heads and shoulders above anything else I have used. After 6 months I am still on the original blade, and it floats too!

No kidding, the cheap top fin one is the best I've had. Had mine about a year now, still in perfect condition. I picked up a long kent one, but I'm really disappointed with it.

Don't worry about scratching your glass with it. As long as you don't get any coraline under the blade and pull back, you won't scratch. I've heard some horrible sounds scraping my tank before, yet no scratches.

I like the idea behind the petsmart one, but I have one from Petco that is IMO a lot better than that one from petsmart for 3 reasons.

(1 It has a foam grip like on a grip for a pistol
(2 It telescopes from a foot and a half to almost three feet
(3 It has detachable tools that can be interchanged on the 'head' of the wand; one is a plastic scraper (can't rust), another is a bristle type pad for stubborn algae and the third is a comb/rake for keeping your sand clean.

It works really well for me and cost less than ten dollars with all three attachments.
