With t5 16x54w corals became more colorful, T-5 lamps have more diffusion.

Yes, it does. When the corals begin to touch and shade each other and some start to loose tissue at the base, that's when I have to trimm them down.

I had a lot of problems with cyanobacteria in other aquaria when I used sand bottom; on this bare bottom with Siporax I never experienced any problems with cyanos.

Yes, it does. When the corals begin to touch and shade each other and some start to loose tissue at the base, that's when I have to trimm them down.

Siporax was placed in plastic boxes, in vertical layers forming ducts (like a pipe). Since the boxes are suspended in the sump, with several holes in the bottom, water enters from the top through this "Siporax ducts", forcing dirt to settle at the bottom of the sump, where it'll be siphoned.

As I do not use sand to make the biology, I use siporax not accumulate debris.
