I went to Carlinhos House today and the reef is still awesome !!!! The corals are huge and we can see some kind of fight between them. I think this is a kind of problem that all reefkeeper would like to have...huge corals touching each other :lol2:

The big echinata blue in the middle of the tank is unbelievable

I purchased the plastic boxes and just assembled them together.

That baffle tank is used to settle down any detritus coming from the skimmer; I remove the waste on a monthly basis. I built it myself, as everything else in my system.

Neverod, tell your daughter that my fishes asked to say that they would be very happy if her words come true. The corals (that rarely talk with another species!) said that they wanted to know her too.

Her comment was the best I received about my tank! I wish one day she has her own tank and turn into a very good aquarist!

What made you use BLV 14k bulbs. I have seen plenty of reeftanks and none uses BLV bulbs. I use 400w 20k BLV because of the price I get them In South Africa. Other make bulbs cost twice the price. Did you try the 20k BLv bulbs? Also have you tried VHO bulbs combined with the halides. How much of pure liverock are you having in the tank. I was checking you build the structure from mostly base rock
