he was using 4 old giesemann light before now as you can see only 3,but they have also more T5neon inside.I think he just switched to try the effect of T5 lamp.

Ah, makes sense. Ask him if he likes the reflectors better on the Spectra. :)

he was very happy about them,he just switched around 3 weeks before I made the photo service on his tank.

Are u crazy-sorry too clutered!?? well I can understand where u r coming from but not in this case sorry.
great tank!!!!!!

It's about a matter of preference..........I agree with shawnts106 it's way to cluttered for my tastes. The corals are absolutely beautiful, but with at least 30% less pieces this tank would be outstanding. The clams littered across the front turn me off also.

Great healthy system, but the aquascaping artistry is non existent. The current TOTM (phocuz) beats this hands down in this area.

And you can see the huge difference between this tank and tanks that are using zeovit ???

This tank has a beautiful and strong colors.....very, very different from the pale and fading colors from zeovit

The beauty of this italian tank is something unreal

Man the colors are unbelievable but I'm not a big fan of the aquascaping. It looks like all the corals are at a football game, crammed into a stadium. I expect to see the "wave" anytime now.

hum... too cluttered.

I also agree with this. It looks like a "for sale" tank at a LFS. Dont get me wrong, colors, shapes, growth, all beautiful. But it looks like row after row after row of corals. Al evenly spaced and arranged. I know it sounds a bit ridiculous to say, but almost too artificial. You never see a setting like that naturally, where there are 30 different species of corals, all the same size growing geometrically to one another.

The colors are outstanding :). I do like a little more artistry and space in a tank, though I shouldn't talk...I have way to many corals crammed in my tank, lol.
I run Zeo and my colors are super deep and rich...no pastels or lightness at all :D.

everything looks good, but it seems that if this tank was really mature coraline growth would be covered on the live rocks below the corals but i didint see any. overall all those corals are really nice, my friend back home in vietnam told me he can get massive colonies in the ocean near his house, but they are not able to keep them since no tank & supplies to hold them.

I also believe is to cluttered, but the tank has some amazing colors, I believe if he fragged some, and send to us the tank would look magnifico !!! Beautifull, but not the most beaufiull tank I saw. I think Acropora Nut's tank takes this tank hands out...... :bum:

In next months you'll can see the new project by Pietro Romano on www.reefitalia.net, but for now is all top secret. It's a surprise :D

I´m waiting for the news :)

I agree it looks real nice, but, I don't notice many of the corals being encrusted the main rock. It almost looks like they were just put placed in there. None the less, it looks very very nice.

I agree with a lot of the others. this is a spectacular looking tank clearly worthy of TOTM. But to me, it looks too cluttered and like a "for sale" rack like other have mentioned. There's no real need to scan around the tank with your eyes because it all looks identical across the landscape. Still beautiful and I wish I could grow corals like that!

Very nice splash of colors. Great effort from the owner. It's his style and I respect that. Many call it fruit stand style of aquascaping. For me, a tank with less corals (and colorful) but carefully placed and nicely aquascaped is more pleasing to the eyes. But it's JMHO.
