You are absolutely right and that's why about half of the people posted on this thread didn't like the aquascaping. "Best" is subjective as well

6 years old,but he had some problems with the refrigerator and lost few corals on last september so he did replaced few corals

I know this reef from pictures a long time ago, and I agree with Denadai, is the best SPS keeper I've ever seen.

It's just perfect.

Does the owner of this tank use any biological additives, coral foods, etc.? I skimmed through the whole thread looking for that info. and didn't see it. Very curious about that....

I think you can translate the description with an online traduction program

That is a beautiful tank plain and simple, most of us would give anything to have a tank like that. But, on RC people always manage to critique.

Well when you get tired of some of those awesome corals, just let me know! hehe The colors are just fabulous. Everything looks so perfect, it almost looks like corals were photo-shopped in, doesn't look real.

How often does the owner have to trim the corals?

What kinds of fish are in there?

Maybe he has reasons that restrict getting a larger tank. Maybe it will cost him money he doesnt have, or maybe like me, he has a limited amount of space to work with.

That shouldnt discount what a beautiful system it is and shouldnt mean that he should have less variety.

I'd rather focus on what he did to accomplish such beautiful color and variety.
And what Amuses me is how little is required to achieve this. He is obviously someone with knowledge since many with 10x the equipment can't touch it.

I'd rather talk to him about how he does it than complain about how cluttered it is. nothing seems to be suffering from it and I personally like the tank.

Anyway, what I wonder is what is in that canister in the sump...looks like a boatload of biopellets, or maybe the aluminum oxide phosguard which I use.

It's a remarkably simple system. Amazing how small the skimmer is and I am also amazed at how much light he has over it. I see this is an old thread but I wonder what this person is currently doing.
