The Big Controller Comparison Chart.

yeah no kidding. I wish Curt @ Neptune would build a Vortech interface! I would bet dollars to donuts that Eco-Tech won't allow it though. That will give Tunze some leverage.

Spreadsheet looks very informative, found this with a search of RC looking for comparisons on controllers.

Want to be sure to get the right one.

Thanks for taking the time to make that up.

Hi Robby
The site is looking great ,I tried to PM you a few times & being the popular guy you are ,always full pm box ,there are many things that need to be changed on profilux ,if you pm me your email I will send you the info.number of sockets ,.......
Also I remember you were asking for the humidity probe ,if you check on our forum under MACNA pictures there should be a picture it is a stainless steel probe for HUMIDITY/TEMP .
Also we just released the Profilux plus II EX that comes with

3 level sensors
Redox
Conductivity
PH
one more 1-10v control port (L5-L7)

So these come stock with the controller & do not occupy any of the extra expansion ports ,so really beside these I am not sure howmany more Probes you need ,using combo cards can add up to 6 more probes again so I hope this answer the extra expansion ports some people were asking about.
There will be an upgrade kit for anyone that wants to upgrade from profilux plus II to this version ,which is basicly a new board & back plate ,installed as a card in less than 20 sec.
Also the new T5 DIMMING MODULE is what we are really excited about as well.
As for Vortech ,we are talking to our friends @ ECOTECH ,You never know could be alot quicker than you think & it would be exclusive card for profilux.
I will call Tim (ECOTECH) on monday & will update you on that soon.
Also our Tunze control comes with the unit no need to buy an extra module for it .
Keep up the great work Robby.
Regards
Jason
Proline Aquatics

Sorry about that, I thought the box was OK. I will clear out some more stuff. I am a bit tied up with work for the next 2 days but I should have plenty of time to update come Tuesday :). Please PM me the info. Thanks

I think Jason might be referring to my pictures as I posted a bunch from his booth. If you need any of them, just let me know.

Jason also uploaded a boatload... albeit not as large of a boat as you did, but a boatload in their own forum.

Hay Marc
Was good to see you there ,I think I covered most of the stuff ,the only Picture I am missing is the one you are smilling ,I heard its been sold for good $ on ebay.LOL

Richard hopefully we have your picture in there as well next year,Its amazing how many people from RC we met @ MACNA.
Hay Robby how come you were not there?just about 6 or 7 hours flight I guess????
The other thing I was suprised about no one from Aquatronica or Biomatix was there.
I was actually looking forward to see the biomatix guys ,I talked to them last year in Houston ,really bright bunch of guys.
Have agreat weekend guys
Regards
Jason

I own an Aquacontroller 2 and I understand that this hobby (most hobbies) multiplies the price of items. As I was looking at your fantastic site and compairing the different controllers it struck me that I could shell out the price of a new laptop for the computing power of a hand held video game from the ninteen eighties. All of these controllers are basically crap compaired to what we could have. Why not use bluetooth/wireless network to connect a small probe array and power strip to your home pc where you run control software?

While that's a good point, the issue is software development. I would guess it's not worth the investment to build the software for such a small user base.

When you write the software let us know. Sounds like a good idea if you have the time

Proline I am still looking out for that PM :)
Also can you give me an idea of what can be purchased with the profilux right now? Seems to be a lot of confusion about what is Coming versus what can be ordered right now. Eg. Dosing Pump, T5 dimming and the new probes all seem to have a very confusing availability status.

Robby
Sorry for Delay
I have been a bit busy ,I will look @ the chart on the weekend & work on this.
As for the confusion I am not sure what you referring to all probes & modules have always been available for sale ,as they are right now ,The only 2 things that we unveiled @ MACNA will be available in 4 weeks are
The new T5 Dimming/lighting Control powerbar.
The Dimmable AC SOCKET

Jason

Also on the side note
Here is one of Marc's Pictures from our booth.
The stainless steel probe is the humidity/Temp Probe & the middle probe is the Disolved oxygen Probe.
