The eagles are landing today!

All three fish are actively eating. I have to admit, the muelleri is a lot more attractive in person! The richness of the dark color is really pretty.

Thanks. My Moorish is a pig and eats anything. But my 4-eyed butterfly is surviving on whatever it is that it picks on. It is fat, but I would prefer it to eat prepared foods, especially pellets. It doesn't even eat Rod's food, at least not out of the water column.

It might eat food/pellets off the bottom, I can't tell. It does peck at stuff right after feeding time.

Several of my butterflies eat pellets. The rainfordi will only eat ON Formula 2 pellets though. The collare, semilarvatus, and robustus do not eat pellets. I doubt the collare ever will since it's been like 2 years at this point.

OK, enough is enough. Peter your going to cause a Butterfly Fad if this keeps up!
For myself, its sad so few are even halfway reef compatable.
Oh well, lovely fish! Congrats!

Matthew

Thanks Steve. I've never had a declivis before. I thought the previous one that died was acting/eating normally. Not at all, compared to this one!

I agree. I'd never seen the attraction of a FOWLR before (is the FOWLER a new variation?), but now I'm really beginning to understand it. Those are beautiful fish - thanks for sharing. :)

Not to alarm you, but are you treating them with any meds right now? Looking at the video around the 1:10 mark, you can see the Declivis scratching itself on the rock. Not sure if it's just a random thing, but might consider prazi if you haven't done so already. I'm sure it's in your plan, but it was just an observation. Beautiful fish by the way!!
