My carpet was doing well until about a week ago when it unanchored itself. I think it was being pestered by my purple lobster which was a hitch hiker.
I moved it to the other end of the tank but has not anchored itself. Now the mouth is open all the time. It does contract at nite and opens up with lighting. It is responsive to light. All color is still there so there is no bleaching. I tried to feed it a silverside and it didnt take it. I lightly touched the tentacles and they are not stick at all.
No ammonia or nitrite
Nitrates around 15
salinity 1.025
Kh around 11-12 drops
Phosphates 0
pH 8.2
I am using AZNO3 so i wonder if that could do it. It lowers oxygen and iodine.
All other tank mates are fine and no stress.
Should I stop the AZNO3?
