The Entrance Reef

Tanks been running well. I had a really small cycle followed by 2.5 no3 a week ago and today I tested no3 again and to my surprise it was .2
Added some of the fish that I had been holding in the sump of the 4x4 which were yellow belly chromis. Also added a couple of test nest frags 3 days ago which have been showing full PE so decided to add a few more today that were floating around in the other tank.

Nice! I don't think we see those damsels in canada.
Are they mean?

Thanks Matt, I had never seen them before myself up until a few weeks ago, they are very timid little guys and I haven't seen one single bit of aggression yet mate. I did check on the aggression side too as I'm able to talk to the one of the main men from supplier/wholesaler direct and he assured me they were very peaceful little guys :)

And so it begins... Looks good, gonna be fun to watch this tank grow out.

Thanks Conor :)

Nice selection of corals Scotty. It'll be fun watching this tank grow up. What is the last pink one?

Beautiful pieces Scotty, i like how you kept the rock low so the acros can be the center piece.

Nice Scotty! Are you going for the pastel look or is that just where they're at right now?

I just noticed you left the stand open - are you going to finish it or leave it open? Do you enjoy the new tank phase or do you want it to hurry up and be 2 years old already? I'm of the latter. :D

I hope this one doesn't grow up as fast as the other one tho mate
The pink I'm unsure on, a friend of mine sent me that frag and I must say I'm pretty stoked with it!

Thanks biggles
That was the plan buddy, let the acro fill the tank and not the rock ;)

Nice start. great looking frags.

Love those damsels. Hope i can find some here!

Thanks Dan, they have been floating around lately mate so hopefully you can find some too.
That's one of my favourite pieces, it's been in the tank for 3 weeks and hasn't lost a hint of colour

Thanks Myka :) that's just where it's at at the moment but if the colours stay then I'll be stoked!

The stand will be clad eventually I've just been a bit too busy to start sorting it just yet. I love the new tank phase and because the other tank growth is so out of control I'm happy for it to grow slowly, just as long as I can keep some nice colour in everything I'm happy :D

Looking great looks like a zeovit reef to me.

Thanks Dan, yea it is looking like it at the moment
