...

Already looks very colorful and great aquascaping. You are an artist.

I'll enjoy watching this tank too, become something amazing:beer:
You've done a great job and i love how clean it looks!

Sorry buddy if you've mentioned it before but what's your bulb combo?

Coral is looking fantastic and like Shih said, the scape is a thing of beauty.
If I'm not mistaken, the rock you used is called Marco Rock. Comes from a supplier in the U.S.
It is very porous. Nice stuff. Very good deal in terms of price vs volume of rock. It goes a long way by weight because it is so porous...
Your beautiful scape is making me think about a scape redo..
Did you see any significant po4 from the rock when you started up the system?

Thank you Mike :) I'm really enjoying this tank at the moment, I'm learning new things which have helped me with the other tank as well which was actually my plan when I started this tank :)

No mate I haven't mentioned it before, bulb combo is 6x ATI Blue+, 2 ATI Aquablue Special and 2x ATI Coral+

Thank you very much Matt :)

Yes you would be spot on mate it is Macro Rock, I have a good friend that lives 15 minutes from me that imports in bulk so I was looked after very well. Like you said it's very porous so you can get a good amount of rock for the $$ you spend.
I didn't see any Po4 from the rock but I cheated a little ;)
I cooked the rock in an 80L tub with a few bits of clean LR and I was also dosing my Fauna Marin bacteria supps into the tub also. Where I really cheated the Po4 was that I had a spare TLF-150 reactor, small pump and a couple of large tubs of rowaphos lying around so I half filled the TLF reactor with rowa and ran it the whole time it was cooking in the tub ;)

Looking great Scotty.

Be on the lookout for a potential algae battle with the rocks...I used it in the past and whilst its great for scaping and fixing acros in place, it can get very hairy with algae :spin3:

Way to be positive Sahin..........

I used it in the past

I'm pretty sure that if Scotty had seen this line earlier he wouldn't even have that rock in his display tbh.

Did i spot more of that Seriatopora Tammyhystrix in this display mate.....:p

Corals look great!
What's the blue one, 5th shot down?
And the pink, third shot.
I like'm!

Thank you Matt
I'm unsure on the both of those names yet mate, been short on time as of late and haven't been getting into my research as much. Blue piece was a wild piece that came into my LFS and the pink was a frag given to me by a friend.

Fantastic ... I do not know which I like more, if the landscape or your pieces so incredible!

Thank you very much yano, I'm trying to catch up to your amazing tank buddy ;)

amazing setup and aquascaping. great work

Thank you :)

Thank you sahin

I had this rock cycling in a tub that I was dosing bacteria into but at the same time I was also running 400g of GFO in a reactor in it as well so hopefully I've sucked most of the nastiness out

Great looking start and very nice equipment. Tagging along can't wait to see the tank mature

Thank you :)

sahin is just keeping me on my toes I think biggles, just like that time he dobbed me Into Tammy about getting rid of the pink Seri :lolspin:

Yes you did spot some mate but that I assure you is only a test coral and will be removed at a later date as seri is not planned for this tank ;)

Tanks been running well. I had a really small cycle followed by 2.5 no3 a week ago and today I tested no3 again and to my surprise it was .2
Added some of the fish that I had been holding in the sump of the 4x4 which were yellow belly chromis.

Did you add chromis or damsels?

Chromis are beautiful and not aggressive towards other fish. Yellow belly Damsels are beautiful but aggressive. I know plenty/a lot of reefers who will not keep them past cycling their tank. They are territorial and the bigger they get the worse. We had to remove 2 from my son's tank, we found out this information 3 fish too late.

Corals look very healthy! Well done mate!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks buddy :)

I added yellow belly chromis, they are peaceful and I haven't seen any aggression from them at all
